A151 Jacob Gerber (Jan. 27, 1790-Jan. 9. 1872) married Barbara Miller on October 29, 1813. Barbara (Sept. 10, 1796-June 23, 1857), was the daughter of Tobias and Barbara (Brubaker) Miller. John and Barbara settled in East Donegal Township on a farm which they later purchased from Jacob's father Andrew. They are buried in the Kraybill Mennonite Cemetery.

A152+ John Garber (Jan. 10, 1792-April 11, 1842) married Catherine Siegrist. John Garber died an untimely death on April 11, 1842 (see Will T-1-56, Mar. 1, 1842), leaving his wife Catherine to raise their young family. John and Catherine are both buried in the Bossler Mennonite Cemetery. They had eight children.

A154 Andrew Gerber (Nov. 2, 1799-May 4, 1832) married Fanny Siegrist (Sept. 12, 1804-March 11, 1830), daughter of Michael and Anna (Gerber) Siegrist. Andrew and Fanny are buried in the Kraybill Mennonite Cemetery.

A155 Jonas Garber (Nov. 11, 1801-Jan. 22, 1889) married Catherine Gamber on Sept. 4, 1825. Catherine (Feb. 8, 1808-April 30, 1850) was the daughter of William and Ann Gamber. They are buried in the Mountville Cemetery.

A156 Christian Garber (Aug. 5, 1807-April 17, 1870) married Elizabeth Seitz (Nov. 12, 1811-Dec. 30, 1851). Christian and Elizabeth farmed in East Donegal Township along the Colebrook Road. They are buried in the Kraybill Mennonite Cemetery.

This clearly conflicts with Garber (1985). We are currently unable to identify the parents of GBC [possibly a son of A16 John Gerber].

Gingerich (1986) claims that his GBC Jacob Garber was the son of A15 Andrew and Mary Gerber, son of Jacob and Mary Gerber, son of Christian Gerber of ship list Nov. 9, 1738. This clearly conflicts with Garber (1985). We are currently unable to identify the parents of GBC [possibly a son of A16 John Gerber].

GBC. Jacob Garber (Sept. 20, 1787-May 20, 1855) m. Esther Resch (May 12, 1795-Mar. 3, 1865). Jacob was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., in 1835 moved to Wayne Co., Ohio, and in 1848 moved to Clinton Twp., Elkhart Co., Ind. Their children were:
