F27+ David Garber (b. ca. 1770; d. 1832, Letterkenny Twp., Franklin Co.), m. [C37] Elizabeth Knob from E. Cocalico Twp. In 1785 he chose John Kurtz Jr. [Gingerich KZB62] of Leacock Twp. as guardian. He appears as Freeman on Leacock tax rolls of 1791, 1792 and 1793; he next shows on Cocalico Twp tax rolls as Freeman in 1796 (no tax rolls for 1794-95), but he no longer shows after that. He married between 1796 and 1797, when he purchased land in Heidelberg Twp., Dauphin Co. on Feb. 10, 1797 (Deed L-456-57). He shows on the 1798 Direct tax and 1800 census for Heidelberg Twp., Dauphin Co. (now Lebanon Co,) a neighbor of John Kurtz [?Gingerich KZA16, husband of David's sister Barbara, who later moved to Juniata Co.]. David apparently did not follow his 7[?] brothers and sisters who moved from Lancaster to Mifflin/Juniata Co.
F28 Henry Garber (b. 1769). In 1785 he chose John Kurtz Jr. [Gingerich KZB62] of Leacock Twp. as guardian. Henry is listed on the 1800 Septennial Census of Mifflin Co., residing in Armagh Twp. He and Isaac also lived in Union Twp. for a short time (Kaufman, 1981).
F29 Catherine Garber (b. 1771). In 1785 Peter Garber of Leacock Twp. was appointed guardian.
F2a Michael Garber (b. 1773; d. 1810). In Sept. 1802 he purchased land "on the north side of the Kishacoquillas Creek, bordering John Armstrong in Armagh Twp (later Brown). He made this purchase jointly with his brother-in-law Michael Hostetler, who shortly thereafter bought the Garver share. (Kauffman, 1981, p. 61; Mifflin Co. deeds H-176, 253). On June 24, 1807 he bought 31a, 25p of land in Juniata Co. from John and Barbara Hostetler (DJH 6527). He married Magdalena Hochstetler (DJH 7334; she m. (2) in 1815/16 Stephen Kurtz (Hertzler Fam 309); the estate of Michael Garber, late of Farmanagh Twp, was bequeathed to John Hooley, son of John Hooley of Union Twp, Mifflin Co.) (Hostetler, 1977). No issue.

F32 Christian Gerber deeded 118½ acres of land in Leacock Twp. to Peter Gerber Mar. 1, 1794 (Deed TT-4-23). He is listed, yeoman of Lampeter Twp., among the children of deceased Peter Gerber in Apr. 4, 1825 Deed D-5-413.
F33+ Jacob Gerber (b. June 8, 1775 [per J.M. Byler, Sept. 1996]); in 1792, [E6?] Jacob Garber, of Leacock Twp., was assigned as guardian. In Apr. 1, 1824 Deed B-5-254, he is identified as late house carpenter of Warwick Twp. His [wife?] Elizabeth -- and Jacob Ruth were executors. He died intestate and Orphans Court on Aug. 18, 1823 received a petition to sell his land.
F34 Joseph Gerber; in 1792, Jacob Garber, of Leacock Twp., was assigned as guardian. In 1825, according to Deed D-5-415, he was living in Stark Co., Ohio.
F35 Magdalena Gerber; in 1794, Jacob Greider, Lampeter Twp., was named guardian. In July 9, 1825 Deed D-5-418, this may be the Mary, deceased dau. of Peter Gerber, wife of Frederick Mohler, whose minor children had George Greiner as guardian: F351 Martha Mohler; F352 Peter Mohler (b. Oct. 28, 1813; d. Nov. 2, 1828 bur Vandersall Cem., son of Friedrich & Marie); F353 David Mohler; and F354 Elizabeth Mohler.
F36 Barbara Gerber [May 8, 1777; d. Aug. 20, 1829, wife of Geo. Kreiner, bur at Vandersall Cem.]; in 1794, Jacob Greider, Lampeter Twp., was named guardian. In 1825 Deeds D-5-413 and 418, George Greiner, yeoman of Lampeter Twp. is listed as guardian for minor children of F33 Jacob Gerber and F39 Mary Gerber Mohler.
F37 Elizabeth Gerber; in 1794, Jacob Greider, Lampeter Twp. was named guardian. In 1825, according to Deed D-5-415, she was married to William Skelton, represented by Joseph Gerber of Stark Co., Ohio.
