Q. Johann Fridrick GARBER (d. 1793)

Q. Johann Fridrick Garber arrived at Philadelphia Sept. 25, 1751 on the ship Phoenix from Rotterdam via Portsmouth, England. This may be Friedrich Keiber, miller of Lowrsolfort (Lower Salford) Twp., Montgomery Co., whose Oct. 3, 1792 will [1] named his executors Abraham Geries and Heinrich Schweitzer and directed that his "small estate be given to the poor people."


[1]Translation prepared by David A. Ehst, 905 Jamestown Rd., Broomall, Pa. 19008 on June 7, 1967. His inventory was prepared Nov. 23, 1793 and filed at Norristown Nov. 11, 1794. He may have been married, as his inventory included allowance for a pair of tombstones.
